PSF's 2025 Impact Report

Following the Pacific Salmon Foundation's Annual General Meeting earlier this week, we are pleased to present PSF's 2025 Impact Report!

We are thrilled to have our collaborative salmon habitat restoration project featured in the Pacific Salmon Foundation 2025 Impact Report "Meeting the Moment for Salmon"!

It is in extremely inspiring publication highlighting many different projects supported by PSF to accelerate the actions that matter most for salmon recovery. It also features stories of science based initiatives leading research and data to drive salmon recovery, as well as efforts to shape policy and funding decisions based on scientific expertise.

Although Pacific salmon face a multitude of threats, challenges, and declines in many populations, we continue to work collectively with our partners, supporter, and donors like Pacific Salmon Foundation to give salmon a chance and make a difference.

Stay tuned for updates on Phase 2 of this project that will begin construction in August 2026 to continue restoration work to protect the spawning channel from extreme drought and heavy rains, ensuring the new high quality spawning habitat remains in place with stable water levels.

Thank you to everyone involved in this important project for threatened Chinook salmon on West Coast Vancouver Island. We are so excited for Phase 2 and grateful for all the work that has gone into this collaborative project.
